A Distillery with History

Bailoni is heralded as the first apricot distillery in the  Wachau valley, with its headquarters in Krems-Stein, Austria. The independently owned family company has a rich tradition in distilling Wachau Apricots since 1872. Over the time our distillery, with 1500 apricot trees, evolved to one of the biggest producers of the region. Our name stands for extraordinary quality products of world-class.

Solid craftsmanship with the highest level of quality, decades-long experience in apricot processing and our deep connection to the region have been the trademarks of our distillery for more than four generations. It is out of question that we insist on regional produce for our liqueurs and brandies. For that, we were awarded with the Austrian state coat of arms in 1977. We are the only apricot distillery in the Wachau who has received this public tribute for our quality produce.

We are also very proud, that our Wachauer Gold-Apricot Liqueur and Gold-Apricot Brandy carry the Austrian seal of quality. Our distillery is IFS certified, since 2016.
